Niles Community Schools will be holding its annual kindergarten registration for the 2013-14 school year.

Registration dates are 7 p.m. March 7, and 7 p.m. April 16 at Northside Child Development Center, 2020 N. 5th St., Niles. There is another from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. April 20 at Westside Administrative Center, 111 Spruce St., Niles.

Registration is for parents only. Children don’t need to attend.

To be eligible for kindergarten a child must:

• Be 5 years old on or before Nov. 1

• Have all required immunizations

• Have an official birth certificate (county or state)

• Have an updated physical examination

• Have vision and hearing screening

Niles offers both all day and half day kindergarten options.
