Surviving family includes her husband, Bill Tschida and their son, William J. (& Kathryn) Tschida of Fort Collins, Col.; grandchildren, Sarah (& Jonathon) Douglass of Bridgman, Mich., Martin (& Meghan) Tschida of Westminster, Col., and Thomas Tschida of Granger, Ind.; great-grandchildren Clark and Abigail; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her brother, Frances A. “Andy” Martin, and sister, Madelon Vanderbosch.

The Mass of Christian Burial for Marianne Tschida will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 7, 2013 at Saint Mary Catholic Church in Niles by the Rev. David Otto of the parish.  Committal Rites will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Niles.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 5 until 7 p.m. at the Halbritter Funeral Home in Niles with recitation of The Rosary at 6:30 p.m. by Deacon Roger Gregorski of Saint Mary’s.  Contributions in memory of Marianne may be made to Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 595 East Main Street, Avon Park, Florida  33825.
