Berrien County Animal Control offers shot clinic for pets

Berrien County Animal Control is holding its fourth annual shot clinic with discounted vaccines for pets at various dates now through Feb. 24, 2013.

The clinics are open to both dogs and cats. Owners are asked to keep pets on a leash or in a carrier for safety purposes.

Vaccines will be offered at a discounted rate of $20 for a distemper vaccine, $20 for a one-year rabies vaccine and $25 for a three-year rabies vaccine.  Pets must be at least 15 months old and have had a one-year rabies vaccine prior to receiving a three-year rabies vaccine.

Shot clinic locations and dates are as follows:

• Dec. 1 — 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tractor Supply Center, 2125, S. 11th St., Niles

• Dec. 9 — 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Oronoko Public Safety Building, 4411 E. Snow Rd., Berrien Springs

• Jan. 26 — 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Family Farm and Home, 1391 Cinema Way, Benton Harbor

• Jan. 27 — 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Buchanan Community Center, 131 S. Oak St., Buchanan

• Feb. 24 — 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Berrien County Animal Control, 9204 Huckleberry Rd., Berrien Center

Please bring a license renewal form. Clinics are open to Michigan and Indiana residents. Only cash will be accepted.
