ST. JOSEPH — The Niles girls cross country team finished fifth at the Big 16 Conference West Division Jamboree hosted by St. Joseph Wednesday.

Jessie Armstrong of St. Joseph was the overall winner with a time of 19:13.

Bridgett Carpenter led the Vikings with a 27th place finish and a time of 22:13.

The boys team was seventh.

David Berry of St. Joseph was the winner with a time of 15:55.

Gaberial Trujillo was the first Viking finisher as he was 36th with a time of 18:34.
