Ruth Mae Williams, 70, of Niles, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, with her family by her side.

Ruth Williams was born April 12, 1942, in Elkhart, Ind., to the late Ysidro and Katherine (James) Tallas.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mary Ann Bienz.

Ruth is survived by two sons, Patrick (Christina) James of Indianapolis, James Williams of Niles; two daughters, Carla Williams of Niles and Mary Sanders of Marcellus; 23 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Thomas Pine of Indianapolis.

She enjoyed bingo, fishing and spending time with family having cookouts at parks in Niles. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Sept. 29, at 11 a.m. in Bethel Apostolic Tabernacle, 945 Chippewa St., Buchanan, with Pastor Paul Deeds officiating.
