Brandywine blanked by Hartford

HARTFORD — For one half, the Brandywine soccer team hung tough with host Hartford Monday.

The Bobcats trailed just 1-0 at halftime, but seven second half goals lifted the Indians to an 8-0 victory that went nearly the full 80 minutes.

Adrian Camargo scored two goals for Hartford, which also got goals from Edgar Gutierrez, Jose Mejia, Sergio Rivera, Rigo Cardos, Alec Rice and Danny Aviles.

Brock Hartline had 11 saves for the Bobcats, who were outshot 19-4.
