Vikings win own doubles tourney

Niles won five out of the six flight championships to claim the team title at its own doubles tournament Saturday.

The Vikings finished with 17 points, while Edwardsburg was second with 13 points. Coloma and Mishawaka tied for third with three points each.

Winning titles were Brad Miller and Nick Zeigert; Alec Brown and Matt Miller; Brent McGowan and Gevanta Nichols; Isaac Rosenthal and Nick Borkowski; and Derek Brown and Matt Lee.

Edwardsburg’s only championship game at No. 2 doubles with Cory Stoneburner and Jordan Douglas.

The Eddies were the runners-up at the other five flights.
