PLAINWELL – The Dowagiac volleyball team was swept by host Plainwell 3-0 in Wolverine Conference action Thursday.

The Chieftains fell to the Trojans 25-16, 25-11 and 25-11.

“The girls did alright,” Dowagiac coach Sara Lawrence said. “Plainwell is a top team in the conference, so we did the best we can do. We had very nice setting by Hollie Olson and Madison Proshwitz.
