COLOMA — Visiting Brandywine lost just one set in its non-conference tennis victory over Coloma Thursday.

The Bobcats won the match, which was originally scheduled for Wednesday, 8-0. Brandywine dropped just one set in upping its record to 3-1.

The best match of the day came at No. 4 singles where Lukas Hoffman defeated Gerrit Chalus in three sets, 2-6, 6-2 and 6-3.

“I was really proud of the way the doubles played today,” Brandywine coach David Sidenbender said. “They showed a lot of growth in a short amount of time. I was also real happy with the way our four singles player, playing in his second singles match, battled back and won a tough three-set match.
