NHS Class of ‘62 awards scholarships

Two seniors from the Niles High School Class of 2012 were honored at the 50th Class of 1962 Reunion Aug. 4.

Alex Hunt was awarded a $2,500 scholarship. He is planning on attending Southwestern College to obtain an associate degree in graphic design. After that, he plans to transfer to Ferris State University for a bachelor’s degree in music industry management.

Kaytlyn Miller was awarded a $2,500 scholarship. She is attending Southwestern Michigan College to major in music and later transfer to Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids to graduate with a degree in worship arts: vocal performance.
