Borgess-Lee welcomes new sleep clinic doctor

Dr. Alice Doe will join Dr. Stephen Jefferson beginning July 1 as part of Borgess-Lee Memorial Hospital’s Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine Clinic. She will provide diagnosis and treatment for all adult and pediatric sleep disorders from 1 to 5 p.m. Thursdays.

“We are thrilled to partner with Dr. Doe,” Joy Strand, administrator and chief operating officer at Borgess-Lee Memorial Hospital, said. “By adding her expertise, our patients will be able to continue receiving comprehensive care for a wide range of sleep issues, without having to travel far from home.”

A board-certified internal medicine and sleep medicine specialist, Doe graduated from Carol Davila University of Medicine in Romania. She completed an internal medicine residency and sleep disorders fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Prior to Borgess, she served as medical director for three sleep centers in northern Michigan. Doe is fluent in English, Spanish and Romanian.
