BIG RAPIDS — Senior Dominic Razzano finished 25th at the Division 2 Boys Golf Finals held at Katke Golf Course on the campus of Ferris State University over the weekend.

Razzano shot 89 and 82 respectively to finish at 171.

Nick Carlson of Hamilton was the state champion with a 139.

Bloomfield Hills Cranbrooks-Kingswood was the team champion with a score of 588.

Razzano qualified for the state finals as an individual after helping the Eddies captured four consecutive Lakeland Conference championships and early first team all-league honors the past two years.

Razzano also helped Edwardsburg finish fifth at districts to advance to the district round with an 81. He advanced to the state finals after shooting a 78.

As a team at the regional, the Eddies missed advancing by a mere four strokes.

Razzano is an honor roll student who will be attending Michigan State University in the fall.
