Michigan State Police have released the identity of a man killed Sunday in a fiery one-vehicle accident in Cass County.

Evan Donald Sobecki, 24, of Granger, died when the sport utility vehicle he was driving left the road and struck a tree on Redfield Road east of Fir Road in Milton Township shortly after midnight.

First responders arrived to find the vehicle engulfed in flames. Sobecki was the only occupant of the vehicle.
