A four-run first inning was all Niles needed to defeat visiting Bridgman Thursday afternoon.

The Vikings went on to score runs in three out of the next five innings and defeated the Bees 10-3.

Tate Brawley and Tyler Clutter combined on a seven-hitter with six strikeouts.

The Vikings pounded out 14 hits off a pair of Bridgman pitchers.

Conner Glick was 3-for-3 with three RBIs, while Brawley and Tyler Parish both finished with two hits, including a double.

Taylor Campbell and Taylor Weldy both added a pair of singles.

The Vikings will now face Cassopolis Saturday in a fundraiser for cancer awareness. (see related story page 12)
