Dowagiac golfers second at jamboree

ALLEGAN — After a couple of rain issues, the Wolverine Conference got back to playing golf Tuesday.
League-leading Otsego captured the Allegan jamboree with a team total of 156. The Bulldogs now have a two-point lead over Vicksburg in the overall standings. Dowagiac, which finished second Tuesday with a 166, is currently third in the league standings with 43 points. Otsego and Vicksburg are at 49 and 47 points respectively.
Vicksburg was third at the Allegan jamboree with a team total of 168.
Otsego’s Taylor Kizer earned medalist honors with his 34. Dowagiac’s Jordan Juday finished with a 39.
Dowagiac also got a pair of 42s from Jon Robinson and Cody Fairleigh. Christian Hess finished at 43 and Andrew Wild 46.
