PLAINWELL — Another tough day at the golf course didn’t keep the Wolverine Conference from hitting the links.

Despite wet and windy conditions, Vicksburg was able to place three players inside the top 10 and came away with the jamboree victory at Lake Doster.

The Bulldogs, bolstered by medalist Luke Tindall’s 37, grabbed the victory with a team total of 166.

Defending Wolverine champion Dowagiac was nipping at their heels with a 169. Otsego, Tuesday’s jamboree winner at Hampshire Country Club, was third with a 172.

The Chieftains had a pair of golfers finish in the top 10. Cody Fairleigh finished second with a 38 and Christian Hess was tied for seventh with a 42.
