Host Niles finished third in the Big 16 West Division Jamboree at Orchard Hills Country Club Monday.

The Vikings actually tied with St. Joseph with a team score of 190. The Bears earned second place based on fifth-man scoring.

Mattawan won the jamboree with a score of 178.

Matt Zerbel of St. Joseph earned medalist honors on the windy and cold afternoon with a round of 42.

Niles was led by John Schrader’s 44.
