Eddies take over Lakeland golf lead

BRIDGMAN – Defending Lakeland Conference champion Edwardsburg finsihed second at the opening league jamboree Monday at Lake Michigan Hills.

The Eddies didn’t let the same thing happen Tuesday.

Edwardsburg rolled to an easy win at Pebblewood as it shot 155 compared to 164 for runner-up Bridgman. Coloma, which won the first jamboree on its home course, was third with a 166 Tuesday.

The Comets’ Andrew Ploskey earned medalist honors with an even par 36.

The Eddies were led by Dominic Razzano and Austin Tevlin, both of whom shot 38.
