Harold and Marcella Peterson of Dowagiac married on March 18, 1967, and are celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary.
Marcella (Mead) lived in Herrin, Ill., and Harold lived in Dowagiac.

The Petersons married at First Christian Church in Herrin.
Their daughter, Glenna, and her husband, Tim, have five children; Veronica and her husband (Robert); Kristina and her husband (Brandon) have three, Danielle, Chris and Trenton. Their son Eric and his wife, Dawn, have five children, Michael, Dustin, Zach, Lillian and Maren. They have eight great-grandchildren.
