Bobcats sting Bees

BRIDGMAN — Visiting Brandywine knocked off the defending Lakeland Conference champion Bridgman Bees Friday night 38-33 in boys basketball action.

The Bobcats led 5-3 after one quarter, but trailed 14-12 at halftime. Brandywine reclaimed the lead heading into the fourth quarter, 25-22.

Not a single player reached double figures for either team Friday night.

Mykal Toxopeus led the Bobcats with eight points, while Alex Erwin added seven points and nine rebounds.

Tyler Gnodtke had nine points for the Bees, who also got eight points from Jackson Kamp.
