Brandywine having half days

To mark the end of the first semester, the following schedule will be followed for students attending Brandywine Community Schools.
On Thursday, middle and senior high school students (grades 7 to 12), and alternative/adult education programs at Bell Education Center, will have a half day of school. Dismissal time will be 10:50 a.m. at the Middle/Senior High School, and 11 a.m. at Bell. Students in grades kindergarten through sixth, at Merritt Elementary and Brandywine Elementary schools, will have a full day as normal.
Friday will be a half day of school for all students in kindergarten through 12th grade. The afternoon developmental kindergarten class will attend in the morning. There will be no class for morning developmental kindergarten students. There will be no classes for the alternative/adult education students at Bell Education Center on Jan. 27. Dismissal times are Merritt Elementary at 11:50 a.m.; Brandywine Elementary School at 12:05 p.m.; the Middle/Senior High School at 10:50 a.m.
Students will return to their normal schedule on Jan. 30. Please contact your building’s office with questions.
