Cass County Drug Enforcement Team announces that on Tuesday, a search warrant was executed at a residence in the 24000 block of North Shore Drive in Ontwa Township.  One adult was arrested for methamphetamine-related offenses.
Police executed the search warrant in the early afternoon and found two adults and two young children inside the residence.
During a search of the residence, detectives from the drug team located methamphetamine, evidence of methamphetamine manufacturing components and paraphernalia related to meth use.
Child Protective Services was called to the scene due to the presence of the two minors.
The children were taken into protective custody.
One adult female was arrested at the scene for possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a drug house. She was lodged at the Cass County Jail in Cassopolis.
This matter remains under investigation.
