Cass County Drug Enforcement Team announces at approximately 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 4, a meth lab was located at the 16000 block of Dutch Settlement Street, Vandalia, Volinia Township.
CCDET obtained a search warrant based on information gathered that leads detectives to believe methamphetamine was being manufactured at the residence.
A search warrant was executed Oct. 4.
Detectives located meth labs that had been burned in addition to an active methamphetamine laboratory in the basement.
Detectives also located marijuana plants in the back yard and marijuana in various areas throughout the residence.
The 57-year-old male  and 55-year-old female who reside at the residence were home at the time the search warrant was Executed.
Both were lodged at Cass County Jail in Cassopolis on charges pending arraignment.
