Cass County Tea Party hosting town hall forums Tuesday

During the last quarter of 2011 the Cass County Republican Party and Cass County 912 Tea Party will be hosting several “Meet Cass County” Town Hall Forums for the respective GOP candidates for the U.S. Senate.
The first candidate scheduled to “Meet Cass County” is U. S. Senate Candidate Pete Konetchy, who will be in Cass County for three town hall forums Tuesday.
Konetchy will speak and answer questions as a Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Democrat Debbie Stabenow.
The town hall forums for Konetcky are scheduled as follows:
• Cass Council On Aging, Decatur Rd off M-60, Cassopolis, 12:30 p.m.
• Ontwa Township Hall, across from Lunker’s, Edwardsburg, 2:30 p.m.
• Cass District Library, on M-62, Cassopolis, 7 p.m.
Through these events the Tea and Republican parties look forward to introducing Cass County to the candidates and learning more from each participating candidate regarding positions concerning the 2012 U.S. Senate race.
The public and area media are welcome to attend these events.
