The Cassopolis volleyball team scored a nice win against visiting non-conference opponent Eau Claire on Monday night.

The Rangers picked up a hard fought win beating the lady Beavers 3-0, 25-22, 25-16, 25-21.

“I thought the match went amazing,” said Cassopolis coach Christina Hans.

The Rangers’ Courtney Moore paced the team with 15 kills, 13 digs and 3 aces. Reese Ellison chipped in with 10 kills, 3 blocks, 3 aces and Meagan Ruff contributed 31 assists, 3 aces and 8 digs in Cassopolis’ winning cause.

“We had to play through some injuries and some girls were not playing where they normally do, but I thought we played hard every minute of the match,” Hans said.

The Rangers looked to start a winning streak when they travelled to play Bridgman Wednesday.
