SCOTTS — The Niles golf team finished fourth at the Big 16 West Division Jamboree held at Indian Run golf Club Wednesday afternoon.

Division leader Portage Central was the team champion with a score of 174. Portage Northern was second at 193 and St. Joseph third at 208. The Vikings were fourth with a 219. Lakeshore (222), Benton Harbor (232), Kalamazoo Central (247) and Mattawan (264) rounded out the order of finish.

Jessica Heimonen was the medalist again Wednesday after shooting 40, which is her stroke average after three jamborees.

Niles was led by Allie Dodson’s 53. The Vikings also got a 55 from both Paxton Schaller and Stephanie Vernier, along with a 56 from Katie Holmes and a 60 from Sarah Cramer, Abby Mattson finished with a 61.
