Cass County Drug Enforcement Team announces that on Tuesday, July 5, in the 51000 block of M-51 North in Wayne Township, investigators located multiple prescription pills including suspected methadone, a schedule two drug.

One adult female subject was found in possession of the methadone and other pills.

The subject also had a valid warrant for her arrest from Berrien County in Michigan.

The female subject was arrested at the scene and lodged at the Cass County Jail for felony possession of methadone and the Berrien County warrant.

This matter remains under investigation.
