Resolution 40 of 2011, adopted Thursday night by the Cass County Board of Commissioners, “recognizes Dr. Zaman’s 40 years of service at Borgess-Lee Memorial Hospital and wish him the best of luck in the future.”

Dr. Mohammad S. Zaman, shown with Dowagiac Commissioner E. Clark Cobb, is retiring April 1.

The resolution also states: “Dr. Zaman’s faithfulness and devotion to those he has helped and served will be forever remembered and he will be greatly missed.”

His wife, Jolly, and staff, Darlene Trussell, Shawna Davis and Deanna Glynn, attended the presentation.
