Richard and Berniece (Phiscator) Walkden, of 1010 Rynearson Rd., Buchanan celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at Prime Table in Niles on May 29.

The couple was married May 29, 1945 at River Park Church of Christ in South Bend.

They have been residents of Buchanan their entire lives.

The couple has five children: Rick, of Niles; Barbara, of Chicago; Jack (Nedra), of Niles; Becky (Dan) Cauffman, of Brookfield, Wis.; and Jeanne, of South Bend.

They also have three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
