The Niles F.C. soccer club completed its second season this spring and looks to expand its teams in the up coming fall season.

The club wishes to invite all interested players from the lower Southwest corner of Michigan to be a part of this exciting experience and to be part of a competitive team that encourages teamwork, growth as a player and the opportunity to compete against higher level competition.

Each season, teams will play eight games – approximately four at home and four away. Each player is responsible for his or her own transportation. The club is looking for players, ages 18-20 as of July 31, 2010.

There will be a registration on June 10 at Niles High School from 6-7 p.m. There is a $35 registration fee.

Prospective players will also need a copy of a certified birth certificate and a 1×1 photo of their face. West Michigan Youth Soccer Association makes players IDs. These are used at games by the referee to verify team players.

The Niles F.C. will be holding try outs June 19 at its home field, which is located behind Ballard Elementary School (1601 Chicago Rd. Niles, MI.) at 11:30.

The registration for the girls will also be open. Evaluations begin at noon. At 12:30, the registration for the boys will begin. Evaluations begin at 1 p.m. There is a $35 registration fee.

Players will need a copy of a certified birth certificate and a 1×1 photo.

These are due at the time of tryouts. If a prospective player is not selected to a team, the fee will be refunded.

The total cost for the single season is $135. The cost for the U12 – U10 is $185 due to the dual seasons. They will play in both the fall and spring.

This includes registration, Insurance, referee’s fees and uniform. Former Niles F.C. players and area school athletes and members of their families will receive a $35 discount. Also starting this summer, Niles F.C. will be holding a soccer skills clinic.
These will be free to all Niles F.C. players.
