The Dowagiac varsity soccer team celebrated Senior Night with a 2-0 win over visiting Otsego in a Wolverine Conference match.
While the seniors were honored for their contributions to the program prior to the match, it was a sophomore who did the damage on the field.
Bre Williams, daughter of Chieftain coach Mike Williams, gave her father a pair of second half goals for his birthday.
“It was a good win,” Mike Williams said. “We played much better in the second half.”
The Chieftains will take on Paw Paw on May 25.
