CASSOPOLIS – Cass County Sheriff Joseph Underwood Jr. reports his office responded to a personal-injury traffic crash just before 10 p.m. on Saturday, May 15, at M-62 and Twin Lakes Road in LaGrange Township.

A moped operated by James Archiable, 25, of Elkhart, Ind., had a collision with a moped operated by Ryan Barber, 23, of Kalamazoo.

Both subjects were hurt and treated for their injuries.

Cass County deputies were assisted on scene by Pokagon Tribal Police and Coloma EMS.

Alcohol appears to be a factor in the crash.

This incident remains under investigation.
