KALAMAZOO – The Dowagiac golf team finished second at the Wolverine Conference Jamboree hosted by Comstock on Friday afternoon.

Gull Lake won the jamboree held at Eastern Hills by shooting 158.

Dowagiac was second with a 160 and league-leading Vicksburg third with a 161. Otsego shot 163 and Paw Paw 170 to round out the top five.

Gull Lake’s Bryan VanDenBerg was the medalist as he fired a 35.

Dowagiac was led by Chris Craft’s 38.

The Chieftains also got a pair of 40s from Max Howe and Kyle Ward as both finished in the top 10.
