Cass County Drug Enforcement Team announces that on Tuesday, March 30, in the evening hours detectives conducted an investigation into methamphetamine production in Calvin Township.

CCDET investigators located a dismantled meth lab, meth paraphernalia and numerous items of meth trash at a residence in the 67000 block of Tharp Lake Road.

One adult male subject was arrested at the scene for maintaining a meth lab and production of hazardous waste.

The subject was lodged at the Cass County Jail for the alleged offenses.

A hazardous waste disposal crew was called to the scene to dispose of some related waste. This matter remains under investigation.
