Dowagiac Middle School teacher Meredith Marrs makes her Union High School spring musical directorial debut Saturday and Sunday with “Grease” at the DMS Performing Arts Center.

Saturday night’s performance begins at 7 p.m., while Sunday’s show is at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $5.

Seniors Isaac Longden and Kaye Swartz star as Danny Zuko and Sandy Dumbrowski, with Miss Dowagiac Katie Haneberg as Betty Rizzo and Brad Ruminer as Kenickie.
Zuko’s T Birds building Greased Lightning include Dean Klann as Doody, Nate Michael as Roger and Sam Gantt as Sonny LaTierri.

Rizzo’s Pink Ladies include Megan Corey as Frenchy, Taylor Gross as Marty and Abby Schuur as Jan.

Rounding out the cast are Whitney Donaldson as Miss Lynch, Michele Dowsett as Patty Simcox, Jacob Przybylinski as Eugene Florczyk, Sinjin Ownby as Vince Fontaine, John Brosnan as Johnny Casino, Katy McGrory as Cha Cha DiGregorio and Cody Carpenter as Teen Angel.

Ensemble members include Frances Getz, Alexis Hagen, Kasi Karn, Sam Hess, Whitney Lee, Kirsten Novak, Charity Evans, Emily Andrzejewski, Taylor McMeeken, Connie Sisk and Katherine Longden.
