Bobcat bowlers at state finals

Brandywine will be sending three to the Michigan High School Athletic Association Bowling Finals this weekend in Sterling Heights.
The Division 4 finals are being held at Sunnybrook Lanes.
The Bobcats competed in the regional at Fair Lanes in Grandville last weekend and advanced Shane Zelasko and Zach Rose on the boys’ side and Haley Cameron to the girls’ event.
Ravenna won both the boys and the girls championships.
The boy’s team score 4,136 to easily outdistance runner-up Galesburg-Augusta, which shot 3,908.
Schoolcraft finished third with a 3,776.
The Ravenna girl’s team finished with a 3,257. Grandville Calvin Christian rolled a 2,992 to take second, while Kalamazoo Christian was third with a 2,901.
Zelasko shot a 1,183, while Rose finished with a 1,174.
Cameron shot a 916.
Bowling began this morning and will run throughout the day.
Action is slated to start on Saturday at 8:25 a.m.
