COLOMA – The host Coloma Comets outscored Buchanan 24-19 through the first three quarters and then held off a fourth quarter comeback by the Bucks Saturday night.

Buchanan outscored Coloma 13-10 in the third quarter, but it could not complete the comeback effort.

The Comets led 9-5 and 14-10 through the first two quarters and then took a six-point advantage into the final frame.

Julie Timm led all scorers with 19 points for Coloma.

Elizabeth Hein had 15 points for Buchanan, which also got six points from Julie LaBounty.
