ARDEN – The Blossomland Soccer League’s annual general meeting will be held Wednesday Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. at the St. Joe Kickers Club.

The meeting is open to the public and at least one representative from each team is requested to attend.

Volunteers needed for Thanksgiving Day Run
NILES – The Niles-Buchanan YMCA and 1st Source Bank are gearing up for the Annual Thanksgiving Day Run on Nov. 26.

Volunteers are needed to help with the great community event.  Your help is needed with race day registrations, racecourse traffic control, hospitality table and much more.

If you would like to help out with this great community event please call the YMCA at 683-1552 and ask for Bret. All volunteers will receive a commemorative long sleeve 2009 Thanksgiving Day Run T-shirt.

Organizations such as Service Clubs, Boy Scouts & Girl Scouts troops, school groups, and church groups are encouraged to make it a group volunteer project.

Registration under way for Thanksgiving Day Run
NILES – The Niles-Buchanan YMCA and First Source Bank are currently taking registrations for the Thanksgiving Day Run, which will take place on Thursday, Nov. 26.

There will be a 10K & 5K Run, as well as a 5K walk and a 1-mile fun run.
