Multiple MHSAA finals online and on TV in November

EAST LANSING – November is always a busy month for Michigan High School Athletic Association Tournaments, and this will truly be a November to remember with unprecedented audio and video coverage on the MHSAA Network and Fox Sports Detroit.

MHSAA Network finals coverage begins this Saturday (Nov. 7) at the Boys Soccer Finals at Troy Athens High School and Crestwood Middle School in Kentwood.
Live streams of the audio and video broadcasts of the event can be accessed from the Website beginning at Noon, with a second game from each site at 2:30 p.m.
Click on MHSAA Radio from the home page of site to access the audio streams.

All games will be archived for on demand enjoyment.

The television coverage of Finals will be shown on Comcast Channel 900 on Nov. 15, with the Division 1 Final airing at 10 a.m.; followed by Division 2 at 12:30 p.m.; Division 3 at 6:30 p.m.; and Division 4 at 9 p.m.

The MHSAA Network will also have its cameras this Saturday at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn to cover the Lower Peninsula Cross Country Finals.

Separate highlights shows will be produced for the boys and girls finals, which will debut on the website in late November, along with a highlights show recapping the Upper Peninsula Cross Country Finals, which took place on Oct. 24 in Escanaba.
These programs will also air on Comcast Channel 900 in mid December. Visit for a schedule.

The weekend before Thanksgiving will see over 35 hours of live video programming on with coverage of the Semifinals and Finals in Girls Volleyball, the Lower Peninsula Girls Swimming & Diving Finals, and a Semifinal game in the MHSAA Football Playoffs.

Volleyball audio and video coverage of the semifinals begins at 2 p.m. on Nov. 19 and 20 with four matches each day.

The Girls Volleyball Finals on Nov. 21 begin at 10 a.m. and run until approximately 7 p.m., with live audio and video streaming, and the Finals will also be shown live on Comcast Channel 900.

Lower Peninsula Girls Swimming & Diving Finals video coverage begins at Noon from three sites on, and the Finals will also be packaged to be shown on Comcast Channel 900 in late December.  The day concludes with live video coverage on and Comcast Channel 900 of a Semifinal game in the MHSAA Football Playoffs from Troy Athens High School at 7 p.m.

Thanksgiving weekend features the MHSAA Football Finals, and fans can gear up for the event by watching the eight championship games on the website.

Fox Sports Detroit will televise seven of the eight football games from the Football Finals at Ford Field on Nov. 27-28 live – the exception being the Division 4 game on Nov. 27, which will be shown on a same day delay basis beginning at 11 p.m. Audio of all games will be streamed on the MHSAA Network – visit and click on MHSAA Radio.

Throughout the month of November, the MHSAA Network will be covering five games weekly in the MHSAA Football Playoffs, and will cover a total of 10 games each of pre-finals action in the Boys Soccer and Girls Volleyball tournaments that will be available through the Website, be shown on Comcast Channel 900, or be available for through Comcast’s Video On Demand service.

Comcast subscribers can visit the On Demand channel, click Get Local, and then click High School Sports to what either full-length contests or highlights packages of selected games. A complete schedule is available on the Website.

In addition, fans can watch the Website in late November-early December for the debut of highlights programs covering the Upper Peninsula Girls Tennis Finals, the Lower Peninsula Boys Tennis Finals, and the Lower Peninsula Girls Golf Finals.
