The Niles volleyball team will “Think Pink” in its regular season finale Wednesday night against visiting Kalamazoo Central.

The Lady Vikings are sponsoring an event in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness.
Each Niles player is raising as much money as they can for this event via pledges and will also be dressed in pink for the match.

The players are also soliciting donations from community businesses for items to be auctioned at the silent auction.

Each Niles team member is responsible to find a male classmate to sponsor them.

The players will dress their male sponsor up in their best pink attire. The sponsor will then solicit donations and votes from the crowd to be voted as “best dressed.”

There will also be many pink items available for purchase, including cotton candy, pink lemonade, pink chocolate covered pretzels, breast cancer pink ribbon temporary tattoos, pink shoelaces and a chance to have your hair colored pink with gel.

The varsity match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
