Credit Union breaks ground

Members of the board of directors of the Berrien Teachers Credit Union as well as supporting members of the community including Niles Township Supervisor Jim Kidwell were on hand Wednesday for the credit union’s official groundbreaking of its new location on South 11th Street in Niles.

“We’ve had a lot of great partnerships going on,” said Scott McFarland, president and CEO, who thanked all of those who came out to celebrate.

Featured at the new facility, expected to be completed by April or May of next year, will be two drive through teller windows.
