ALBION – Dowagiac High School graduates Clay Hewitt and Josh Deuel teamed up to provide the Albion College men’s soccer team’s second goal in a 2-0 victory over Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association rival Trine University on Wednesday.

Hewitt scored his team-leading third goal of the season when he accepted a pass from Deuel in the 81st minute. It was the first assist of Deuel’s collegiate career.

Albion (3-4 overall, 1-0 MIAA) continues league play with a Saturday match at Olivet College.
