Brandywine volleyball team swept

BERRIEN SPRINGS – Visiting Brandywine dropped a 3-0 decision to Berrien Springs in a Lakeland Conference varsity volleyball match.

The Lady Shamrocks won 25-18, 25-7 and 25-8.

“It was a rough match and we weren’t ready to go out and play,” Brandywine coach Nikki Cooper said. “There were glimpses of good things, but we think too much instead of just playing.”

Kelsey Prestly led the Lady Bobcats with five kills, while Jessy Cooper had three kills.

Kaley Jones led the team with eight assists and Cooper six assists.

Brandywine did win the junior varsity match 25-14 and 25-20.
