ALLEGAN –  The Dowagiac varsity golf team finished 10th at the Wolverine Conference Jamboree at the Lynx Golf Course on Wednesday.

Vicksburg continued to maintain its grip on the top spot, winning the jamboree with a score of 201.

Gull Lake finished a stroke back at 201, while Paw Paw was thied with a 210.

Plainwell and Otsego both shot 214.

Dowagiac finished last with a team total of 249.

For the third straight jamboree, Otsego’s Brittany Haight was the medalist after she carded a 40.

Lauren Smith led Dowagiac with a 59 on Wednesday.

The Chieftains also got a 60 from Cassie Stone, a 61 from Shannon Keene and 69s from both Haley Smith and Maggie Cripe.
