Gary “Wes” and Lindsay Holmes of Niles are the parents of girl, born on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009, at Lakeland-Niles. Amelia weighed 8 pounds.

The Holmes are also the parents of one son: Ivory, age 3.

Maternal grandmother is Diana Finlay of Granger, Ind. Paternal grandparents are Gary and Carolyn Holmes of Niles.

Maternal great-grandparents are Bob and Dreama Schmidt of Granger, Ind. Paternal great-grandmother is Hazel Elms of Niles.

Ryan Grady and Crystal Lockhart of Dowagiac are parents of a daughter, born on Monday, Aug 24, 2009, at Lakeland-Niles.

She weighed 6 pounds and 2 ounces. The Lockhart/Gradys are also the parents of two sons: Nicholas Lockhart, age 2 1/2, and Jordan Grady, age 3. Maternal grandparents are Donna and Lester Fortune of Dowagiac. Paternal grandparents are Robert and Renee Grady of Dowagiac. Paternal great-grandmother is Joyce of Dowagiac.

Randi Rachelle Emerling and Steven Tyler Ross of Niles, are the parents of a son, born on Friday, Aug. 28, 2009, at Lakeland-Niles.

He weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces.

They are also the parents of 2 sons: Austin, age 10, and Jaidyn age 13 months.
Maternal grandmother is Rebecca Smith. Paternal grandparents are Paula and Joseph Moreland of Niles. Maternal great-grandmother is Randy Lytell of Canada. Paternal great-grandmother is Nancy Acousta of Niles.

Modelyn Jarmon and Timothy James of Niles, are the parents of a son, born on Thursday, Aug. 12, 2009 at Lakeland-Niles.

He weighed 6 pounds 15 ounces.

Maternal grandparents are Holly and Travis Jarman of Niles. Paternal Grandparents are Donard Tammy Dennison  and Patrick James of Niles. Maternal great-grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Richard Maynard of Niles. Paternal great-grandparents are Valda Skinner and Ruth Williams of Niles.

Ronald Cinde and Sarah Posey of Edwardsburg are the parents of a son, born on Sunday, Aug. 8, 2009 at Lakeland-Niles.

He weighed 8 pounds and 6 ounces.

The Cindes are also the parents of two daughters: Lilian age 5 1/2, and Isabell, age 2 1/2.

Nelson

Jessica and Clarks Nelson of Niles are the parents of a son, born on Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2009.

He weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces.

The Nelsons are also the parents of a 19-month-old son, Henry.
