SOUTH HAVEN – The Dowagiac varsity volleyball team will open its season on Friday at the South Haven Quad.

The Chieftains will join the host Lady Rams along with Waterviet and Lake Michigan Catholic.

Dowagiac will open up play at 10 a.m. against LMC. On the other net, South Haven will face Watervliet.

At 11:15 a.m., Dowagiac will take on Watervliet, while the Lady Rams will face the Lady Lakers.

Pool play wraps up at 12:30 p.m. with the Chieftains squaring off against South Haven and the Lady Panthers facing LMC.

The top two teams will face each other in the championship match at 1:45, while the third and fourth place teams will play in the consolation match.

All games are a best of three format with rally scoring to 25 with no cap.
