Harvey and Simone Bird of Bertrand Road in Niles, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on July 30, 2009.

They celebrated at their daughter’s home in Niles with the family on July 4.
Simone was a LPN at Healthwin Hospital for  17 years. She is retired.

Harvey was a transport driver for Marathon Oil for 38 years and is also retired.

Their children include Phillip (Mary Anne), Gerry (Barb), Yvonne (Tim), Pat (Bill); 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild and another on the way.
