COA’s ‘Grand Festival returns July 10

CASSOPOLIS – The Grand Festival returns Friday, July 10 at 2 p.m. for another big day for grandparents and grandchildren at the Cass County Council on Aging at M-60 and Decatur Road in Cassopolis.

Kids and grands can play games and win prizes, try out the putting green, and get silly with balloon creations.

Sarrett Nature Center will bring a few of their wild friends. More animals will be at the petting zoo area, which will include ducklings, lambs, kittens, bunnies and goats.

Other activities include hayrides, Withers Choo Choo, and a jumping castle. Toddlers can play sand and water games for small prizes.

At about 4 p.m. Ronald McDonald will bring plenty of fun for the kids, and the indoor show lets everyone cool off. After the show, hot dogs, hamburgers, and more will be served. All children must be accompanied by an adult, and the festival is free.
