Shirley Sirovica, 87 / Sept. 11, 1922 — July 30, 2010

Shirley Elaine Sirovica, 87, of Niles died at 11:18 a.m. Friday, July 30, 2010 at Lakeland Community Hospital in Niles of natural causes.

She was born Sept. 11, 1922 in Berrien Springs. She was a lifetime area resident.

Shirley retired from Niles Community Schools; worked for Kawneer and ETC in Niles; and was a homemaker.

She married Albert Sirovica, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sons, John T. (Kathy) Sirovica, of Red Oak, Texas, Michael D. (Kimberly) Sirovica, of Niles and Mark A. Sirovica, of Niles; daughters, Sharon L. Collins, of Niles and Elaine A. Fulbright, of The Colony, Texas; four grandchildren, Aaron Sirovica, Jason Sirovica, David Sirovica and Bethany Sirovica; and nine nieces and nephews.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband and brother, Chief Master Sgt. Sheldon Stover.

Services will be held at noon Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010 at Hoven Funeral Home in Buchanan with Evangelist Karry Hab of The New Apostolic Church in South Bend officiating.

Burial will be at Eau Claire Cemetery at a later date.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 7 at the funeral home.

Memorial may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association.
