Niles F.C. looking to expand teams

The Niles F.C. soccer is looks to expand its teams — Girls U8-U19 and Boys U8-U12 in the 2013 fall season.

The club wishes to invite all interested players from the lower southwest corner of Michigan to be a part of this exciting experience and to be part of a competitive team that encourages teamwork, growth as a player, and the opportunity to compete against higher level competition.

Each season, teams will play eight games: approximately four at home and four away. Each player is responsible for his or her own transportation.

The Niles F.C. will be holding try outs Sunday at the home field which is located behind Ballard Elementary School (1601 Chicago Rd.) Registration will open at 3 p.m. Evaluations begin at 3:30.

There is a $35 registration fee due at the time of tryouts. If a prospective player is not selected to a team, the fee will be refunded.

Cost for the fall season is $100. U8-U12 has an option to play fall and spring seasons cost $150. if registered by June 23. After June 23, cost is $135.00 for fall and $185 for the U8-U12 fall-spring season. Deadline is July 7.
